About the Program:
HR management professionals who understand and can effectively execute change initiatives are able to make a greater contribution to the overall success of their organizations. This seminar will examine each step in the organization development process to help HR managers learn how to diagnose organization problems, design and implement appropriate OD interventions, and institutionalize changes. Participants will learn how to better position their organizations to achieve overall business objectives by becoming more flexible in responding to future changes.
Upon completion of this seminar, you will:
- Understand the elements of successful organizational change initiatives
- Have had the opportunity to practice activities involved at each step in the OD process
- Know how to positively impact organizational effectiveness at the individual, group, and organization level
About the Professor:
Recipient of the 2009 HR SOUTHWEST "Educator of the Year" Award
Rosemary Maellaro has over 25 years of corporate human resource management experience and has held the position of Vice President of Human Resources in two organizations. She is currently the Academic Director for the Organization Development MBA program and her educational background includes a Ph.D. in Human and Organization Development as well as an MS in Organizational Behavior.
Dr. Maellaro has been a full-time professor at the University of Dallas for the past 12 years and previously served as the Academic Director of the Human Resources MBA program. Her courses - which include Organization Development, Staffing & Employment, Employee Training & Development, Project and Team Management, and Value-Based Leadership - actively engage participants in the learning experience and consistently receive outstanding student evaluations.
Rosemary also manages a successful consulting practice that specializes in team building, management training and leadership development.
