Education plans monthly educational programs, workshops, seminars and webinars for all educational areas of DallasHR.  The following committees serve as sub-committees to the Education Committee.

  • Round Tables provide an avenue for connection, learning and collaboration in several specialized areas of HR practice and interest.  Volunteers are encouraged to serve as leaders to coordinate these groups of members in round table discussions and best practice sharing. Round Table groups include: Compensation & Benefits, Employee Engagement, Global HR, HR Department of One, Organizational Development, Solution & Service Partners.
  • Talent Management provides specific programming and resources for recruiting, retention and all aspects of talent management.
  • Employment Law & HR Compliance keeps members informed about HR compliance and risk management information, requirements and best practices based on federal, state and local laws as well as potential and pending laws. They work with the Education Committee and the staff to plan legal updates and programming specific to legislation.

Student Engagement oversees and promotes all student activities for DallasHR & The HRSouthwest Conference. The student program includes a mentor program, scholarship review and awarding, monthly luncheon student guest program and support to the on-campus college SHRM chapters.
