Surfing in the Turnover Tsunami: On legal, recruiting, and leadership in a tight labor market

Join DallasHR in Collin County as we learn to find the lighthouse of opportunity in discussing the causes and effects of the Great Resignation. Attendees will hear from subject matter experts (attorneys, seasoned recruiters, leadership and employee engagement experts) and learn to navigate these uncharted waters.

Turning the Great Resignation Into the Great Opportunity

The Great Resignation has created choppy waters of talent, so HR must learn to navigate! Even in the most challenging recruiting market of our lifetime some organizations are doing well. Together in this session we will briefly review the key drivers impacting the current labor market. Then we will brainstorm practices that are making a difference and discuss how to seize the moment to improve our recruiting and retention results!

Learning objectives:

  • Identify the labor market pressures driven by high resignations and low labor force participation rates.
  • Understand how to use that data so leadership teams prioritize recruiting and retention efforts.
  • Evaluate effective opportunities to improve our recruiting and retention processes.
