Dallas HR is partnering with The University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas) School of Management to offer Global Workforce Diversity and Development, the first in a series of global human resource courses. This new two-day course is designed specifically for senior human resource professionals who require contemporary knowledge about the organizational and people issues emanating from the dynamic forces of globalization.

Program content, designed and taught by the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas), School of Management faculty who are also experienced international human resources practitioners, includes graduate level lectures on organizational and international business issues, as well as, individual assessments and interactive participation exercises with a practical application focus.
Key topics include:
- Globalization and the changed nature of work
- Global talent utilization and distributed work organizations
- Culture and cross cultural issues in global workforces
- Managing and negotiating organizational conflict and difference.
HRCI Recertification Credit
This program is HRCI approved for 15.5 International recertification credit hours.
CEU Credit
This program has been approved for 1.5 CEU credits.
About the Instructors:
Anne M. Ferrante, Ph.D., Director of the School of Management’s Global Leadership Executive MBA Program (GLEMBA), brings hands-on experience derived from leading an international human resource organization in Europe and the Middle East for a major Fortune 500 company as well as from expatriate consulting and research in India. She holds a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Development, and an MBA and M.S. in Human Resources. Anne teaches graduate business courses in cross-cultural management, global human resources, and organizational behavior. She is a long-standing member of SHRM and active in the Dallas area Global HR forum.
Laurie Ziegler, Ph.D. earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration and her M.S. in Human Resource Management from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has been recognized as Teacher of the Year and currently teaches courses in Organizational Behavior and Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. She is a consultant for Management Associates International where she provides seminars on conflict, influence, and negotiation.
