November 12, 2009
7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
About the Program:
California employment law differs significantly from the laws of many other states, including Texas. This presentation will address the most significant differences, including daily overtime and other wage and hour traps, strict liability for harassment and other discrimination issues, disability management, privacy standards, restrictive covenants, and unique municipal ordinances.

Since joining the firm in 1992, Mr. Boomer has had extensive trial experience representing employers in all areas of employment litigation, including wrongful termination, employment discrimination, retalitation, whistleblower, trade secret and unfair competition cases in federal and state courts in California, Washington and Nevada, as well as arbitrations pursuant to mandatory ADR programs.
