Workshop Overview
Organizational culture has been touted since the early 1990’s as essential for business success but there has been little connection between culture and the employment branding process. EMERGE International has found that knowing “who you are and who you are not” from a cultural perspective, creates an employment brand that increases the ROI of recruitment and retention programs. By paying attention to congruence, alignment and fit, organizations can attract and retain the “right” employees and repel the ones that just won’t fit.
In this powerful workshop, participants will be provided with tools that can be immediately implemented to help align their recruitment and retention efforts to their overall organizational strategy. The workshop will combine relevant business examples, years of practical application as well as information from employment branding studies. After attending this program, participants will understand how to:
- Assess and define an organization’s cultural framework
- Build an employment brand in the context of culture
- Clearly define “fit” to identify the type of employee you desire to attract and retain and those you’d like to repel
- Assess current employment brand and conduct gap analysis between current state and desired state
- Use cutting edge technologies to leverage employment brand in recruiting and retention efforts
- Create a value proposition, brand promise and opportunities to collaborate with marketing to ensure the employment brand is congruent with the consumer brand
