Unfortunately, we are not all immune to workplace violence. To proactively prevent, preempt, and effectively deal with conflicts if they do occur, it is critical to understand that violence is a reality and effective training and vigilance is important. Following this webinar, participants will be able to identify violence in their workplace and develop a plan of action to secure their companies from threats of violence. Should a violence incident occur, attendees will be equipped with skills for deescalating and controlling the situation to result in a safe outcome for all.
Learning Objectives:
- Develop a greater appreciation for the reality of potential violence
- Identify signs of violence
- Implement a Violence Preemption Plan and “Appropriate” Plan of Action should a violent event occur

As a master firearms instructor and personal/corporate security specialist, Tom Russell provides a comprehensive set of services. Tom received his master of instruction certification almost fifteen years ago from Lt. Colonel Jeff Cooper, the late dean of firearms instruction. Tom has taught thousands of students on the handgun, shotgun, carbine (AR15, AK47), and rifle.
Building on his experience providing security for special installations while serving in the Marine Corps, Tom began providing private, executive, and corporate level security.
Today, Tom’s primary focus is on providing executive level management leaders with the personal defense and security skills that will enable them to effectively deal with a threat at the point of contact.
