May 19, 2017
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Unfortunately, we are not all immune to workplace violence. To proactively prevent, preempt, and effectively deal with conflicts if they do occur, it is critical to understand that violence is a reality and effective training and vigilance is important. Following this webinar, participants will be able to identify violence in their workplace and develop a plan of action to secure their companies from threats of violence. Should a violence incident occur, attendees will be equipped with skills for deescalating and controlling the situation to result in a safe outcome for all.

Learning Objectives:
  • Develop a greater appreciation for the reality of potential violence
  • Identify signs of violence
  • Implement a Violence Preemption Plan and “Appropriate” Plan of Action should a violent event occur
