Cultivate Strategic Relationships - Skills to Develop Strategic Business Partnerships

May 15 and 22, 2014
8:00 am - 12:00 pm

The role of the strategic HR professional is evolving and now requires the ability to connect with all functions in an organization to achieve HR business objectives. This two-part workshop focuses on the primary skills that HR professionals need to master to be successful business partners in their organizations. Participants will practice relationship skills to be a strategic, contributing partner within the leadership team and will develop a Strategic Partner Profile on identified partners. You will walk away with increased confidence, competence, and courage to become a sought after Strategic HR Business Partner.

This 2 half-day interactive program provides the opportunity for self-reflection in the context of your organization’s environment as you practice skills and analyze the needs of your current business partners. We will utilize The Everything DiSC Workplace® Profile as part of our sessions. The Profile helps build better relationships by understanding and appreciating the styles of the people you work with. The result is more effective and productive workplaces. An invitation to complete The Everything DiSC Workplace® Profile will be sent to you prior to the beginning of the workshop. Completion of the assessment before the workshop will be required.
