Community Relations Committee Door Prize Drawing - Bring donation items for the Dallas Life Foundation

The Community Relations Committee would like to thank everyone who donated accessories to our March collection for Attitudes & Attire.

At our May meeting, we will be collecting your donations of items for Dallas Life Foundation. Dallas Life Foundation is a homeless shelter that meets the needs of homeless men, women, children and families in the Dallas metroplex. This organization serves on average 1,000-1,200 meals per day and has the capacity to provide a safe place to sleep for up to 500 men, women and children per day. Being homeless during a Texas summer is no fun - and the last few days seem to have announced an early start to this year's sweltering summer season!

Dallas Life Foundation is not only a shelter from the elements, it is also an organization that provides programs which provide a step up from homelessness to employment. We invite you to help us collect some of the constantly needed, but very basic items for the shelter. These are:

Laundry soap, towels, wash clothes, DART bus passes, deodorant, bar soap and dry cereal.

To thank you for your donations, we will have a door prize drawing for anyone who brings a contribution to the May meeting.
