In Memory of a Dallas HR Past President - Drew Young
Drew Young, SPHR, passed away on September 6, 2006 at the age of 90. Many of our membership will remember Drew and his dedication to our association and Conference. Drew served as the Chair of HR Southwest Conference in 1964 and as President of Dallas HR in 1965. Drew went on to serve as the National Chair of the Society for Human Resource Management.
Because of Drew’s devotion to the human resources profession and his work with the Human Resource Certification Institute, Dallas HR established a scholarship in his name to encourage students preparing for a career in human resources.
