"Where is Our (Human) Capital?"
The United States has entered what could reasonably be termed the perfect storm of a failed public education system, diminishing workforce, and increasing global competition. This does not bode well for US businesses. With very low unemployment and high demand for a skilled, qualified workforce, organizations are, or soon will be, facing a critical dilemma. This presentation discusses and addresses issues that are critical to each and every business owner and employer - will there be qualified workers available to your business tomorrow - and can you get them to work for you? How can HR professionals educate and prepare their organizations to face and meet this challenge? Based on current reliable research and data from numerous sources, this presentation presents the challenges facing the present and the future of our businesses as well as our economy.
