DHRMA, Inc. Elected Leadership Positions
Elected Trustee must qualify as a past President of Dallas HR or past Conference Director of
HR SOUTHWEST or have served a minimum of one year in a volunteer leadership position
for both departments. (Exception: At the discretion of the Nominating Committee, two of
more years of prior leadership with another SHRM affiliated Chapter or with SHRM may
be considered in lieu of this qualification.) Trustee must be a member in good standing with Dallas HR and SHRM.
President-Elect - The President-Elect is elected by the membership to serve a one-year term. The acceptance of this position is a commitment to also serve a one-year term as President. The President-Elect must be a member in good standing of Dallas HR and SHRM. Professional certification is preferred. Previously served a minimum of two years in a leadership position with the Corporation and one of those years with Dallas HR. (Service in a leadership role with another SHRM chapter may be considered in lieu of this requirement.) Must have at least six years experience in the HR profession, HR education or HR legal arena.
Conference Director-Elect: - The Conference Director-Elect is elected by the membership to serve a one year term.The Conference Director Elect will serve a one year term as Conference Director following their year as Conference Director-Elect.This position serves as a member of the Executive Committee.The Conference Director Elect’s responsibility is to support the Conference Director as advisor and facilitator of the annual Conference planning process and production of the Conference onsite.
