Post November Monthly Meeting
November 10, 2009
1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Survival of the Well Informed!
Once upon a time, over a 40-year career, the average employee hoped to accumulate $1 million in assets and a house that was paid for by the time they were 65. Following last year's crisis, the $1 million probably got as low as $600,000. The question is: could this happen again? Erin Botsford thinks that it could and the result could be a "game changer" for many people. Employers are looking for answers and they are calling their HR departments. It is important you are well informed about the current financial landscape, not only so you can help your employees, but so you can protect yourself as well.
About our Speaker:
Erin T. Botsford, CFP, CRPC is the head of The Botsford Group. Erin and her organization have developed investment strategies to potentially help their clients in asset and wealth evaluation, risk management, creative investment strategies, and estate planning. Erin believes that the traditional money management strategies of the last 25 years may likely not be effective over the next decade. Her foresight and systematic planning process have been recognized nationally, attracting new clients who appreciate the benefits of a well defined philosophy about money.
Erin began her financial planning career in 1989 as a stockbroker with A.G. Edwards and Sons. She formed The Botsford Group in 1995 and, in 2007, she co-founded Biltmore Capital Advisors LLC with D. Tyler Vernon in order to provide additional product offerings, both traditional and non-traditional. Erin's rise from a life of poverty and misfortune to become one of the Top Financial Planners in the country is a story that has been featured in numerous articles and publications. Erin has been listed as one of the "Best Financial Planners in Dallas" by D Magazine (Dec. 2002, 2004, Jan. 2009) and has been nationally televised as a guest on CNBC. |
