About Dallas HR
The Dallas Human Resource Management Association, Inc. ("DHRMA")
is a not-for-profit
organization with an association membership
of more than 2,100 Human Resource professionals
and more than 3,800 Conference attendees.
Formed in 1939, Dallas HR is SHRM Chapter #061 and
one of the top chapters affiliated with the Society
For Human Resource Management (SHRM). Dallas HR has earned SHRM's Superior
Merit Award each year since inception, as well as the prestigious Pinnacle Award.
Dallas HR was formed to foster the professional development of the membership,
to be a forum for the exchange of ideas, and to provide leadership for human
resource concerns. The Association provides a wide variety of sources to solve
problems and help expand the professionalism, competence and knowledge of its
members.
The annual HR Southwest Human Resources Conference and Exposition in October, has grown to be the largest regional Human Resources conference in the country, second only to SHRM’s annual meeting.
