About the Program:
Workplace Spanish® - Human Resources is a tool for basic communication designed to help participants cut through the language barrier so they will be able to communicate with native Spanish-speakers in a simple, effective manner. Mastering key expressions will help HR professionals reduce the need for interpreters and improve the quality of employee services. The job-specific material uses bite-size terms and phrases, easy phonetic pronunciations, and carefully selected expressions that can be learned today and used tomorrow. Materials do not include grammar, language rules, or verb conjugations and include over 500 terms & phrases frequently used by HR professionals.

Upon completion of Workplace Spanish® for HR Professionals, the participant will have:
- Been introduced to Latin American Spanish language and pronunciation
- Learned, pronounced, and used common HR questions and phrases in Spanish
- Covered HR content to help process HR transactions efficiently and effectively
- Built confidence to "say it in Spanish" so they can communicate with Hispanic prospective and current employees in a basic but effective manner.
About Your Instructor:
Ivonne Butler, a native Spanish speaker with a degree in International Relations from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, has over 15 years experience in Spanish language training for business professionals. For the past two years, she has partnered with the Business Solutions Group of Collin County Community College in providing Spanish language training, translation services and Spanish-language proficiency evaluations for municipalities and industry. Her dynamic teaching style and passion for Spanish get participants speaking “en español” within minutes.
