Unconventional HR: Enhancing HR's Business Function
Everyone’s heard HR people talk about “having a seat at the table”, being a “strategic partner” or being their bosses “problem solver”. How is what they do different than the conventional HR role? Is there a training program to prepare you? If you’re sitting at the table or being strategic, who’s handling the everyday HR responsibilities? Attendees will follow Whitney’s career transformation from basic and conventional to unconventional HR and how she orchestrated those changes. She’ll discuss what managers up through CEOs in the know are looking for in their HR leaders and how to educate those leaders who don’t know what they’re missing.
Learning Objectives:
• Create awareness of the benefits of an unconventional HR person
• Identify the skills necessary to become an unconventional HR leader
• Obtain necessary skills to manage the change from ordinary to unconventional
