Community Service Event - Minnie's Food Pantry

We are looking for 5-15 volunteers to help with various tasks.

Minnie's Food Pantry (MFP) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Plano, Texas. We believe that overall wellness begins with healthy food and financial education. Our ultimate goal is to provide numerous programs that help families gain long-term food security and to break the generational curse of people (especially children) in low-income areas not having access to fresh fruits and vegetables.

Various Tasks Available:

  • Placing food items in client's vehicle
  • Preparing bags filled with fresh produce & dairy items
  • Preparing bags filled with frozen items, such as meats and ready-to-eat meals
  • Unloading trucks
  • Stocking shelves
  • Sorting items
  • Preparing boxes or other related tasks.

All HR practitioners are welcome! This opportunity is not limited to DallasHR members.  Please invite your colleagues, team members, HR departments.  Each volunteer is required to sign up individually online.
