  • When OSHA Comes Knocking: Secrets to Successfully Managing an OSHA Inspection: OSHA inspections and citations are on the rise in North Texas.  As of January, serious penalties increased up to $13,494 per violation and may be 10-fold for a second on the same issue.  In this session, you will learn why OSHA might inspect your business and the best practices for managing an inspection to reduce risk and penalties.
  • The SECURE Act: What You Should Know, Plus ERISA Updates: This session will provide an overview of the SECURE Act’s changes to tax-qualified retirement plans and the steps that HR professionals should be taking to address these changes. Remaining time will be spent covering ERISA and employee benefits updates for HR professionals and Q&A with the audience.  
  • Five Things Managers Should Know About Immigration Law:  This session will focus on the top five fundamental concepts every HR practitioner should be familiar with: Form I-9, immigration-related discrimination, sponsoring work visas, corporate immigration policies, and periodic audits.
  • Management Training: Price Is Right-style: This interactive session provides HR professionals with practical tips on how to train the managers they support on both run-of-the-mill employee issues as well as current hot topics.
