Microaggressions and Microinequities at Work

In this session attendees will discover how seemingly small things can add up to big problems. What are microaggressions? How do microinequities work? Are they really something HR managers should address? These are just a few of the questions that will be addressed during this presentation. Understanding the cumulative effect of microaggressions and how unconscious bias often drives your employees to microaggress will allow you as an HR leader to utilize practical steps to act, minimizing the damage that can be done.

Learning Objectives:
  • Learn what constitutes microaggressions and microinequities
  • Understand how implicit bias influences the way we perceive others
  • Address microaggressions in practical and positive ways
