Career Support Networking and Strategy Session for the HR Community

Title: Find Your Lane; Change your GPS and Experience Success!

Outline
1.   Maintain your vehicle – the importance of investing in your personal development. (Leadership Growth)
2.   Plan your Roadmap - the importance of planning and goal setting. (Planning with Purpose) 
3.   Use the Carpool Lane - Expand your network and include others on your journey. (Sharing Resources)

This session is a leadership strategy session about changing or updating your “Career GPS” which stands for Grow, Plan, and Share for success. We are all moving in different lanes and we need to find the lane that works best for us. We need to think differently on how we approach leadership growth as individuals, and with our teams to achieve our business and personal goals. Some of the strategies and keys to success include being growth oriented, planning and goal setting, networking with excellence, serving others, and being resourceful. When we grow in our leadership, everyone around us will grow too! I have also included an exercise for personal branding that will elevate brand awareness!

The objective of this session will be: To inspire everyone to “find your lane” or “validate your current lane” that will ignite your passion for growing yourself and others as a leader in your organization!

 

The Speaker

Bruce Waller is the Vice President of Corporate Relocation for Armstrong Relocation and Companies in Dallas, Texas. Bruce has enjoyed many roles in relocation from operations to general management since 1995. Bruce is certified by WorldwideERC as a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and serves on the North Texas Relocation Professionals Board of Directors. In 2014, Bruce was the recipient of the Saul Gresky Award presented to NTRP’s Relocation Professional of the Year, and has received many awards including UniGroup Masters Club and Armstrong Relocation Presidents Club. Bruce is also certified by both HRCI (Human Resources Certification Institute) with a PHR, and SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) with a SHRM-CP and currently serves on DallasHR Board of Trustees. Bruce graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Business Administration. Bruce and his wife of 33 years have 3 children and 1 grandson and live in Dallas, Texas.

Bruce published a leadership book in 2017 called “Find Your Lane” to inspire people with a “Career GPS” to help navigate and experience more success. So buckle up… It’s time to find your lane and drive with purpose.
