Career Support Networking and Strategy Session for the HR Community

What is an Elevator Pitch? A 30-second speech that summarizes who you are, what you do and why you would be a perfect candidate. You should be able to reel off your elevator pitch at any time, from a job interview to a cocktail party conversation or with someone who might be able to help you land a position.

Pre-Work

Prepare a rough draft of a 30-second Elevator Pitch. We will review 9 steps to create a unique elevator pitch that will allow you to fit in and stand out in your next interview. A 10-minute work session will allow you to apply your knowledge and skills in small groups.

Please bring the following:

  • A rough draft of your Elevator Pitch
  • Pen and paper/notebook
  • Courage to share with others
