Minnie’s Food Pantry provides a one of a kind red carpet volunteer experience and offers a great opportunity to provide a meaningful, positive impact in the community. Their programs provide families and individuals access to healthy meals. In addition to food distribution, their ultimate goal is to provide numerous programs that help families gain long-term food security.
- 8:00am: Volunteer registration/orientation/task assignment
- 8:30am-11:30am: Volunteer Experience
- 11:30am-12:00pm: Volunteer experience wrap-up
Everyone is welcome! This opportunity is not limited to DallasHR members. Please invite your colleagues, team members, HR departments. Each volunteer is required to sign up individually online.
During our volunteer experience at Minnie’s Food Pantry we will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: Interacting with clients, providing concierge service to clients, cart running, preparing cold bags, unloading trucks, stocking shelves, sorting items, preparing boxes, administrative tasks.
