CHAPTER EVENT DUTY OF CARE STATEMENT

January 2022

DallasHR is following the guidance from worldwide health organizations and experts. We are fully committed and are taking appropriate precautions to provide a safe and healthy environment for attendees during all chapter events.

Currently, we do not require masks at chapter events. The choice to wear a mask is your own. The decision to require masks during chapter events will be made based on the direction of local government and city officials or the venue itself.

By attending any DallasHR event, you agree to abide by and engage in certain health-and-safety conduct while attending the event and DallasHR will execute the following best practices to help attendees stay healthy and to reduce exposure and risk:

  • Provide sanitizing and disinfection materials for general attendee use
  • Provide appropriately spaced seating
  • Work with the venue to ensure appropriate cleaning and disinfection across high-volume public areas
  • Encourage attendees to act in their own best interest and in the best interest of their fellow attendees by managing their own preparedness like adopting a no-handshake policy and staying home if feeling ill or have been recently exposed to COVID

By attending any DallasHR Chapter Event, you agree to abide by and engage in certain health-and-safety conduct while attending the event. This includes being mindful of appropriate physical distancing, and not attending the event if you are ill or have been recently exposed to COVID.

If an attendee begins to actively experience symptoms during or after the event, they should self-quarantine immediately and notify DallasHR Executive Director, Jimmy Taylor
