Mariya teaches courses in human resource management and organizational design and change at the University of North Texas. She also serves as the co-advisor of the UNT SHRM chapter. She has held the PHR certification since 2013 and she obtained the SHRM-SCP certification in 2016. She has expertise in performance improvement, curriculum development, leave administration, and career exploration. Mariya has been a member of DallasHR and she has volunteered with The HRSouthwest Conference in different capacities since 2009.
