Practical Investment in Leadership Development and Accountability
Many times when we think about investing in leadership, we think of significant assets dedicated to training programs, enormous leadership development budgets, and a multitude of dedicated resources, etc. While there is certainly a time and place for these investments, there are practical and meaningful ways to investment in leadership development that reinforces a leadership accountability culture and leadership behaviors that improve the company’s culture, positively impacts employee engagement and just simply creates a competitive differentiation without massive expenditures.
Transplace was named #3 Best Private Companies for Leaders in 2014 (and #5 in 2013) by Chief Executive Magazine which included some very larger and well-recognized brands. Adrianne will share specifically what Transplace has focused on to earn this external recognition; and more importantly, how practical and engaging leadership programs have reduced employee attrition and improved employee satisfaction results.

About the Speaker
ADRIANNE COURT, CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER, TRANSPLACE
Adrianne Court has over 20 years of human resources and business leadership with large public companies to privately-held firms (including Ryan, Allegro Development, Nortel, Oasis Outsourcing, and i2 Technologies) with focus in technology, software, solutions and services spanning supply chain, telecommunications, energy and more. Her human resources expertise and US and international business experience, include compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, training & education, HR policies & compliance, employee relations, m&a, process excellence, organizational & talent development, board matters, organizational restructuring, organic and inorganic growth strategies, mentoring & coaching, and more.
In her role as Chief Human Resources Officer of Transplace, she is charged with leading strategic and relevant HR programs and initiatives that invest directly in developing the expertise of the people of Transplace and creating a competitive talent differentiation. A current selection of focus areas, include continuous investment in learning and professional development, leadership investment programs, strategic recruitment and selection, reward and recognition, and compensation and incentive programs. Through these programs, she has helped Transplace achieve significant reduction in employee attrition.
In her pursuit of world class human resources, she and the organizations she has worked with have received recognition for their investment in human capital programs, including Best Places to Work For in Texas; HR Problem Solvers for innovation in employee development and training by Human Resources Executive Magazine; and, named #3 Best Private Companies for Leaders 2014 (and #5 in 2013) by Chief Executive Magazine for championing investment in leadership talent at Transplace. In December 2013, DallasHR honored her as Human Resources Executive of the Year. She is one of a few select HR executives, who will be featured in Forefront Magazine’s Executive Profiles in 2014, and is also a contributor to Forefront Magazine’s Executive Insights Blog.
