Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

Dallas HR Management Association continues to monitor the Coronavirus and will continue to provide updates here.
As we adjust to our “new normal”, we continue to follow statements from the CDC and local authorities. For the foreseeable future, we are following current guidance for large events and mass gatherings
. We have rescheduled in-person Networking Events for later in the year and have converted face-to-face Education Events to webinars where applicable. Our online Event Calendar reflects the most current schedule.
DallasHR members continue to have access timely COVID-19 webinars and resources presented by our members and your peers. Get answers to your questions reading through hundreds of Q&A’s already posted or post one of your own in the online community – HRConnect. Continue earning re-certification credits and/or find out more about a topic of interest in the Online Learning Center where you'll find hundreds of educational sessions recorded from the 2018 and 2019 HRSouthwest Conference.
With recent spikes in COVID-19 cases and stalls in the Open Texas initiative, DallasHR and our Board of Directors has decided to pause on sharing announcements on how The HRSouthwest Conference will be presented for 2020, until additional information becomes available. Though July 1 was our target date to announce the format of the event, it is important to see a reduction in COVID-19 cases before we make a formal announcement. Our decision will be data driven, with the health and wellness of our community of chief importance.
As such, we will continue to offer “risk free” registration options which waive cancellation fees until final plans for the 2020 event are announced. Thank you for your patience and please send any questions you may have to firstname.lastname@example.org.
